About Me
I’m Megan! I’ve been a doula in the OKC-metro and surrounding areas since 2022. I am happily married to my husband of 8 years and a mother to four of my own sweet babies. I’m a Catholic, homemaker and homeschooler. I’m a firm advocate for informed consent and hope to provide a strong foundation of education and emotional and spiritual support for my clients and their families. I look forward to serving you!
Services
Prenatal Visits
I offer two prenatal visits prior to birth for my clients. These can involve working to create a birth plan, discussing fears or hopes for your birth, connecting you with resources, and other types of support. I am also available via text and phone call during normal business hours for my clients leading up to birth.
Labor and Delivery Support
I offer continuous support for my clients and their families as the mother is in active labor. I can help suggest different positions, offer birth affirmations, physical and emotional support. I stay up to two hours after birth, and ensure that mama and babe are comfortably tucked in and fed before leaving my families!
Postpartum Support
I offer my clients one postpartum visit with birth doula services. We can use this time to talk over the details of your birth or I can help with breastfeeding concerns or other parenting topics if that is your desire.
Postpartum Doula Services
I offer extended postpartum support for additional fees. These visits must be scheduled a week in advance and I charge by the hour. These visits can involve help with house cleaning, extended breastfeeding support, help with older children, and more. Rates vary for daytime and nights/weekends.
Fees
Your initial consult is always free! The charge for birth doula services is $1200, including a retainer fee of $400 upon booking. The retainer fee is non-refundable. Postpartum doula services are by-the-hour and I currently charge $30 an hour for daytime services and $50 an hour for services outside of weekdays 9 am-5 pm. Extended travel fees apply to clients who live more than 20 miles from Guthrie, Oklahoma.
